3^ND ANNUAL “CLOTHES OFF OUR BACK”

EMMY CLOTHING AUCTION

 

This year’s lot to include items from the Primetime Emmys, Daytime Emmys,

Teen Choice Awards and more.

 

Celebrity participants include Edie Falco, Brad Garrett, Cheryl Hines,

 Garry Shandling, John Ritter, Nicole Richie, Wilmer Valderrama, Lindsay Lohan,

Xzibit, Laura Wright and more.

 

Bidding to begin the evening of September 19, 2004

 

 

Los Angeles, Calif., September 16, 2004 – Today, Emmy nominees Jane Kaczmarek (“Malcolm In The Middle” – Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series) and husband Bradley Whitford (“The West Wing” – Outstanding Drama Series) announced the initial list of celebrities who will be participating in the third annual “Clothes Off Our Back” celebrity clothing auction.

 

Over forty celebrities including primetime and daytime Emmy nominees, Teen Choice Award winners and other stars are sharing their good fortune by giving the clothes off their back all in the name of charity for the third annual Clothes Off Our Back auction.  This year’s auction will benefit the Children’s Defense Fund, Smile Train and Cure Autism Now.

 

Designers who have contributed clothing and accessories to this year’s auction include Hugo Boss, Maurice Lacroix, Randolph Duke, Dolce & Gabbana, Norma LeNain for Celeste in Beverly Hills, Randi Rahm and Emporio Armani.

 

“We are so excited to continue the wonderful Clothes Off Our Back tradition for a third year,” said Jane Kaczmarek, co-creator of the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation and star of television's “Malcolm In The Middle.”  “There has been an overwhelming public demand to expand our reach and this year’s auction brings together stars from all areas of television, music and movies.  We are grateful to the celebrities and designers who have generously donated clothing and accessories to Clothes Off Our Back and we hope that with the public’s help, that we will raise a record amount of money.”
