Nominees and Television Stars Help Raise Money for Children's Charities at the Daytime Emmys

Los Angeles, Calif., May 20, 2004 – Clothes Off Our Back (www.clothesoffourback.org) is making its first appearance at the 2004 Daytime Emmy Awards. Soap stars and talk show hosts have agreed to donate their designer red carpet attire for charity.

The celebrities who have already signed up to participate include:

• Lorenzo Lamas - The Bold and the Beautiful
• Ellen DeGeneres - The Ellen DeGeneres Show
• Laura Wright - Guiding Light
• Stephanie Gatschet - Guiding Light
• Ron Raines - Guiding Light
• Kim Zimmer - Guiding Light
• Jeanne Cooper - The Young and the Restless

More names are being added every day.

This year's auction will take place on uBid (www.ubid.com) and will begin on Friday, May 21 immediately following the Daytime Emmy Awards telecast and run for ten days.

Clothes Off Our Back will donate proceeds from the Daytime Emmy Awards auction to the Children's Defense Fund, Smile Train and the Cure Autism Now Foundation.
