Myers, FL, Jan. 8, 2009 - In celebration of the Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20 and inspired by the style and grace of future First Lady Michelle Obama, White House | Black Market designers created The White House Inaugural Collection, which consists of four one-of-a-kind gowns - The Ladybird, The Abigail, The Jackie and The Eleanor - that will be available through a special charity auction in partnership with The Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. From Jan. 5 to Jan. 15 with the starting bid at $400, shoppers can vie for a couture gown and original designer’s sketch from this special collection at ClothesOffOurBack.org, benefiting Clothes Off Our Back’s charities including Feeding America (formerly named America’s Second Harvest), The Art of Elysium, Hope North and H.E.L.P. Malawi.

In time for the highly anticipated inauguration, the White House | Black Market boutique in Union Station in Washington, D.C. will be completely transformed into D.C.’s inaugural dress headquarters with a special window display unveiling the four couture gowns on Jan. 8 and a showcase of 12 new dress styles with a full accessory assortment. In addition to Union Station, four other D.C. area boutiques - Georgetown Park, Congressional Plaza, Tyson’s Corner and Fairfax Corner - will offer an expanded collection of dresses and accessories. From Jan. 9 to Jan. 20, shoppers who view the newest line of must-have dresses at these five D.C. area locations will receive 25 percent off purchases.
